After college, Delphine learned that the government was recruiting women for air traffic control.  She took the opportunity and eventually became the second female air traffic Tower Chief in the United States; the first in the western part of the country.

Delphine is currently working to construct an aviation museum in Boise, and has served on the board of a group that works to that end.  Her schedule is full: she is active in the Boise Basque community, her church community, and volunteers for a hospital in Boise.
